The Village Golf Club, Alnmouth
Formed in 1869, the course was designed and created by Mungo Park, who became a famous golf professional.

It is the fourth oldest links course in England
comprising only 9 holes but a very challenging 6300yds, Par 71.

Many famous names of the past have graced the Alnmouth links, including
Harry Vardon, J.H.Taylor, Tom Morris, The Prince of Wales.
 
The present Village Golf Club began it’s existence in 1935 formed by the artisans of the village and supported by the Working Mans Club and the then Stint Holders.


The Golf Club welcomes visitors on holiday,
and also caters for visiting parties.
