| Formed in 1869, the course was designed and created
by Mungo Park, who became a famous golf professional. It is the fourth oldest links course in England comprising only 9 holes but a very challenging 6300yds, Par 71. Many famous names of the past have graced the Alnmouth links, including Harry Vardon, J.H.Taylor, Tom Morris, The Prince of Wales. | |

The present Village Golf Club began it’s existence in 1935 formed by the artisans of the village and supported by the Working Mans Club and the then Stint Holders. |
